Pacific Islands Trade & Invest (PT&I) Sydney is bringing 11 Pacific island exporters with a diverse range of premium niche products to Fine Foods Australia in Melbourne.
With over 1000 exhibitors and 24,000 visitors over four days, the PT&I Sydney initiative provides a platform for exporters to engage with Australian and international buyers.
“It is an ideal forum for Pacific Island premium niche products at such a high profile show and to check out the global competition” says Jeremy Grennell, PT&I Sydney, General Manager Export.
From chocolate and cacao nibs from the Solomon Islands, Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) from Samoa, feijoa juice from Vanuatu to coffee from the highlands of Papua New Guinea - all wrapped in premium packaging to attract the discerning buyer.
Mr Grennell says these products illustrate the diversity of premium food and beverage coming out of the region.
The PT&I Pacific Islands branded stand (L28) provides an opportunity for exporters to attract Australian and international buyers to engage one on one, in a focussed environment. For many participants, Fine Foods Australia is one of the biggest platforms to showcase their wares.
Mr Grennell says it’s the sixth year that PT&I have attended Fine Food, and that momentum and focus builds every year.
“We are looking forward to exhibiting some premium niche Pacific products to local and international buyers and telling them the story behind each of these products.”
