Tonga will be preparing to compete in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India, in October (3-14) this year.
The Tonga Amateur Association Office (TASA) stated today, that the team of about 20 members had not yet been selected but would be confirmed in late February or early March.
In the meantime, Tonga would be competing in seven sports namely archery, swimming, weightlifting, Rugby 7's, boxing, athletics and shooting, and Dr Amanaki Fakakovikaetau has been selected as the Chef de Mission.
It is expected that Tonga may send a team of up to 40-members including athletes and officials.
