Pacific mourns passing of ‘Father of Oceania football’


A man regarded as the “father of Oceania football”, whose pioneering efforts over three decades helped spread the ‘beautiful game’ across the Pacific islands as well taking the NZ All Whites to its only World Cup appearance in 1982, has died.
