Pacific Homecare extends condolences to the aiga of Frank Stowers

Pacific Homecare’s recently elected Chair, Frank Stowers, has passed away, on Saturday 16th July.

A New Zealand-born and Otara-raised Samoan, Frank is survived by his wife Tish, his daughter Josephine, sons Rauna and Phillip, and extended family.

Considered an amazing leader in his own right for many years, Frank took on senior roles within the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs before moving into his own consultancy, working with 4PM Group.

His legacy includes assisting many Pacific community based organisations and government agencies throughout New Zealand around development in Pacific communities.

When he joined the Pacific Homecare Board in 2010, he guided trustees and the organisation through a challenging phase of development and growth, to where it is today.

Pacific Homecare Chief Executive Hamish Crooks says it is a sad time for Pacific Homecare and everyone who had been fortunate to engage with Frank.

“Frank was a truly amazing leader with all of those attributes of humility, credibility, service, a healthy dose of humour and a love for his community,” he says.

“We will all dearly miss Frank. Rest in peace our friend, with much love.”

Pacific Homecare extends our love and prayers to Frank’s whanau, aiga and friends.
